How much does local SEO cost? Honest numbers.

Nobody in this industry wants to publish prices. I will - because the right buyer for me is the one who understands what things cost before we talk.

The three real price tiers

Under $300/month ("cheap"): automated directory submissions and a report template. You're paying for software output, not strategy. Sometimes fine for a business that just needs citations cleaned - but it will not win competitive Map Packs.

$500–1,500/month (the real market): an actual person doing actual work - profile rebuilds, landing pages, content, review systems, citation cleanup, monthly reporting. This is where most service businesses should be, and where my engagements sit. At this level one extra job a month usually covers the fee.

$2,000+/month (premium agencies): multi-location strategies, digital PR, dedicated teams. Legitimate for franchises and multi-city operators. Overkill - and overpriced - for a single-location shop.

One-time vs monthly

A foundation rebuild (profile, site fixes, citations, core pages) is front-loaded - the first 60-90 days carry the heavy lifting. After that, monthly work is compounding: content, links, reviews, iteration. Anyone promising a one-time "SEO setup" that ranks you forever is selling a haircut that grows back in a season - competitors don't stop.

Red flags - walk away

  • Guaranteed #1 rankings - nobody guarantees what Google decides
  • 12-month lock-in contracts - confidence doesn't need handcuffs
  • "We'll submit you to 500 directories" - that's a 2011 tactic, and half of those directories are spam
  • Reports full of impressions and "reach" - you run a local business, calls pay bills
  • No named human - if you can't WhatsApp the person doing the work, you're a line item

How I price

Flat monthly, sized to your market and goals, quoted after the free audit - before you've committed to anything. Month-to-month. If I don't earn the renewal, you leave. That's the whole model.

Start at zero

The audit is free. The quote is exact.

I look at your Google presence and site, tell you what's fixable, and give you a precise number. No discovery-call theater.
